Half day horseback riding in the mountains

Horse riding price per person:

120 GEL - 2 hours on horseback riding (without transfer and lunch)

160 GEL - 2 hours on horseback riding with snacks, tea/coffee (without transfer and lunch)

250 GEL - 2 hours on horseback riding with round trip transfer from Tbilisi with tea/coffee snack

300 GEL -  horseback riding, transfer in both directions, a snack, lunch or barbecue dinner

How is it happening

1. You book a horse ride by specifying the date and number of participants. After that, we contact you and clarify the rest of the details and you make an advance payment.
2. A small group gathers from 2, but no more than 8-10 people.
3. We will pick you up in Tbilisi and transfer to a ranch located in a mountain village on the Trialeti ridge, 45 km from the city with off-road driving on the last 7 km of the way. The last 20 minutes of driving is something that amounts to a thrilling Jeep-Trophy experience.
4. Tea/coffee/snacks upon arrival. Preparation and saddle of horses, guests can take part in the event.
5. Primary training for beginner riders about 20-30 minutes with Georgian/English/Russian speaking instructors.
6. The trip accompanied by a guide lasting 2 full hours in the saddle through fields, forests and mountains, depending on the chosen route.
7. Return to the ranch.
8. Full BBQ dinner with wine. Vegetarian or meat menu available. (if included in package)
9. Transfer back to Tbilisi.

Horse riding routes in the mountains

Horse rides take place along forest paths with ascents to picturesque hills and descents to zigzag patterns of rivers and springs in gorges, possibly several long gallops through vast meadows and pastures.

Around majestically beautiful views, lush vegetation, strewn with berries and mushrooms, rare plant species, wild birds and animals.

Horseback riding routes lead to Lastitsikhe waterfall, Didgori valley, Betania monastery, St. George church in Tsveri, Algeti national park - Manglisi, Kldekari fortress, Shamte, Botisi, Kvatakhevi monastery, Rkoni, Tabatskuri lake and other historical places (depending on the route chosen) !)

Horses and equipment

We have horses, thoroughbreds and mixed breeds, of good character, well trained and equipped with a wide range of saddles (English, military, western or specially designed), safety helmets and saddlebags.

Riding tips:

Dress in whatever clothing is appropriate for walking in the woods. Preferably protective clothing and boots.

Do not wear a backpack while riding, as it can put a lot of pressure on your shoulders. For things you can use our saddlebags.

Photo session: you can take photos yourself, or ask a guide for help, or even take your photos with an experienced professional and enrich your portfolio with bright and interesting images.
