7 day adventure around Georgia

After breakfast tourists are moving from the hotel with the guide accompanying them to Ananuri Castle, which is 90kms away from Tbilisi. 

After the completion of the castle we will go to Pasanaurian Aragvi. Length of the rafting is 15 km, duration 1 hour, difficulty II-III category.

After the rafting you will have the opportunity to taste the real Pshavian Khinkali.

After dinner we will go to Samtskhe-Javakheti and stay in Borjomi’s family hotel.

Breakfast.

After breakfast we will go to the village of Chitakhevi, where we will have rafting on the Mtkvari (Kura) River. This site is known for its unique nature and canyon. Also, here was held the European and World Rafting Championships.

The route is short, but active and fun. Rafting starts in the village of Chitakhevi and finishes near Borjomi. Rafting route 13 km, the complexity – II-III category, duration – 1 hour.

After the rafting, we will go to the Borjomi National Park and drink mineral water straight from the spring, which have different healing properties. Also, we can get bathe in real hot mineral springs, beating out of the ground.

Borjomi is a balneological and climatic resort, it is notable for its ecologically clean environment.

Here we will have lunch in one of the cafes.

After that we will return to the hotel.

After breakfast we will go to region Racha, on the way we will taste delicious sweet bread – “Nazuki”.

Also, you will see the handicraft in the open market, where are Georgian national tableware, made from clay.

We will pass through the impressive Nekerala pass and will see very impressive lake Shaori, visit the Nikortsminda monastery (XI century).

After we will Stay one of the family hotels in Ambrolauri.

After a small relax, we will visit the Wine cellar, where we will try the Khvanchkara wine, which is prepared according to an old recipe, keeping it underground in special earthen vessels – Kvevri.

At the evening you will have a dinner at the hotel, where you will enjoy Georgian folklore (Georgian, folk dances and songs performed by the local ensemble).

Breakfast.

This day will be devoted to rafting on the Rioni River, which is known for the best rafting sites.

Rafting area, where we can organize rafting tours, starts from the Upper Racha and ends in the city of Kutaisi. The length of the section is 120 km.

Rioni River is one of the largest in the Caucasus. It is unique with its beautiful valleys, whirlpools, canyons and waterfalls.

Our rafting route starts from the Khidikari fortress and ends in the village of Gvardia, on the shore of Shareula.

The length of the rafting route is 25 km. Complexity – III category, duration 2 hours 30 minutes (depending on the season).

After rafting on the shore of Rioni, you will be served by hot tea cooked on the fire. Here you will have a picnic with barbecue and we will settle in tents.

P.S. Here you can take part in various activities, such as: Trekking – on the “Sairme Pillars” (4 km, medium difficulty), Horse tour in a small area, Swimming along the river Shareula or walking in amazing nature.

Breakfast.

After breakfast, we continue our adventure journey to get more challenging and extreme category of rafting.

Our rafting starts from the village of Gvardia and finishes is the village of Tvishi. The route leads the beautiful nature of the gorge of Alpana, we will enter the Tvishi Canyon, where is the natural amphitheater.

The length of the route is 20 km, duration is 1 hour 40 minutes, the complexity – III-IV category.

After the rafting, we will have lunch and go to Kutaisi, but along an unusual and surprisingly beautiful road from Alpana, we will turn into the amazing ravine of the Lajanura river and will go up to the pass leading to the village Tsageri.

From the top of the pass You can see amazing view of the valley Tskhenistskali.

During 7 day adventure in Georgia we also visit protected territories. firstly we will visit the Tskaltubo region and the cave of Prometheus. The hour walk in the cave will be completed with a 15-minute boat ride on the river Kumi, which leaves the cave.

After this we will visit the ancient city of Kutaisi, we will see the central square and historical streets. Here we try Imeretian cuisine.

After that we will settle in one of the guest houses in Kutaisi.

Breakfast;

After breakfast, we will go to the Kinchkha protected area. Where we will arrange a small trekking in the picturesque nature to the Kinchkha waterfall, which has three cascades, the highest of which falls to 70 meters.

After trekking we will visit Martvili Canyon. Length of canyon is about 2400 meters. One section has a special beauty. In canyon you can ride on boats.

On the way back to Tbilisi, we will go to the temple of Bagrati, which was built in the X-XI centuries. It is entered UNESCO monument protection list.

Coming out of the Bagrati Cathedral, we will visit the cafe where we will have dinner.

At the end of this extreme travel you will have a transfer to Tbilisi, Kutaisi or Batumi International Airport.
