Rafting in Racha-Lechkhumi region

Meeting at the hotel in Kutaisi at 10:00 and departure to the Racha region.

During the tour you will see  the Nakerala pass with beautiful valley and amazing landscapes, height 1218 m from the sea level.  Also, Shaori lake. Shaori lake is one of the most beautiful water reservoir in Georgia. It locates on 1100 miters altitude. Nature and water is just excellent.

In Ambrolauri city center you can have lunch and taste local “Lobiani” (Not included in the tour price!). In addition you can try local wine Khvanchkara (although doesn’t include in price).

Before the journey, guides will give you all the necessary instructions for the use of equipment and behavior in the boat. And hunting rapids can begin! We board the boat and begin to tame the wild river. The pulse is accelerated to the maximum, adrenalin fills each cell, and laughter and screams bounce off the surrounding rocks. Excitement is growing, while cold water splashes your heated cheeks.

After rafting, it’s time to relax, jump into the water, swim, take pictures. Enjoy the beauty of mountain springs and noisy waterfall of Nikordziri, which is located at the foot of the mystical Khvamli mountain.

Transfer back to the Kutaisi hotel. We will be in Kutaisi about 19:00-20:00. So, you can walk in night Kutaisi or alternatively have a dinner in restaurant in the city center.

As the one-day tour of rafting on the River Rioni takes only a few hours, you can easily combine it with some of our other tours and make your holiday just what you always wanted.

P.S. Children must be accompanied by an adult! The minimum age is 8 years.

In the case of one to three people, there will be a private tour and it will cost 220 USD.

Previous experience is not necessary.

The minimum number of participants for the realization of the tour is 4 people or you can join an existing group, of course. 

The maximum number of participants is 8 people per guide (Per boat).

For group bookings with over 10 persons, we approve of a group discount.

The time schedule is not fixed and may vary depending on the wishes and needs of guests, as well as in accordance with our overall organization.

This tour can be extended and/or combined with other tours from our offer.

What to take with you?

We recommend to bring a swimsuit and a towel, dry backpack for your personal things, and sun cream.
