Trekking on Sairme pillars - 1 day

Drive from Kutaisi city to Lechkhumi region for trekking on Sairme Pillars 09:00-10:00. We will pass Tskhenistskali gorge. First destination is the beautiful cascading Rachkha waterfall. The water comes from the mountain, passes under the bridge and flows into the Tskhenistskhali river (horse water). The region of Lechkhumi is rich with remarkable natural and historical monuments. Among them is one of the natural monuments, rocky massif- Sairme Pillars. One of the main landmarks of Tsageri municipality. Pillars were formed as a result of natural processes during thousands of years. 

The desert of Sairme pillars is located between village Alpana and Chrelobo, near the village Sairme. On the right bank of the river Rioni, from the mountain pass, where the road folds between the uphill and downhill, one can see Sairme Pillars.

The tour will be led by a professional guide who speaks English. He knows hiking trail and views, where you can take the best photos.

Road binds up in the forest from the mountain pass. The trekking way is about 3 km long. Along the way, we will meet ancient settlements and the ruins of a medieval monastery. After walking several kilometers away from the ruins, the pass finishes on the peak of the mountain, 680 kilometers away from the sea level. And in front of you, there are picturesque views and wonderful sights of Sairme Pillars.
